Green Party of the Philippines Joins Zero Waste Run 2021

In an effort to promote awareness on Zero Waste and the need to sign into the bill a Nationwide Single-Use Plastic ban, members of GPP Kalikasan Muna (Green Party of the Philippines) joined the #ZeroWasteRun from August 4-8, 2021. It would have been a bigger event had there been no strict lockdown on some key areas.

One of our participants is GPP Kalikasan Muna, Vice-Chairperson, and Aksyon Kalikasan Board Member Rachel Baldonado.

NO TO PLASTIC POLLUTION average 5km/ day. Day 1/ 4.8 km Zero Waste Run/Walk to Dambana ng Watawat Park Imus, Cavite.

Day 2/ 6.8 km Zero Waste Run/Walk to Puregold Kawit, Cavite.

Day 3/ 5 km Zero Waste Run/Walk to Brgy Navarro, Alapan II-A, Imus Cavite.

Another active participant in the Zero Waste Run was Engr. Richard “Reach” Penaflor, GPP Kalikasan Muna, National Council Member, and Spokesperson. He is also a Pasig River Warrior and a former member of the Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission under Ms. Gina Lopez.
